Breaking the glass ceiling

The proverbial glass ceiling hindering women from advancing their careers they say is invisible.

I honestly don’t know how a ceiling can be invisible and that’s because I believe it exists largely within the frame of the individual woman. This is simply a barrier possibly caused by myths but guess what? The glass ceiling is meant to be shattered not used as a floor.

Ladies, so what are the simple things we can do to break the glass ceiling?

1. Build future rated capabilities.

2. Build and nurture a strong professional network of associates, advocates and hopefully sponsors will emerge.

3. Establish your personalised "support system" as your foundation.

Don’t let anyone or anything turn your sky into a ceiling.
